Staff Bios

I grew up in the Anselmo Community south west of Mayerthorpe. After attending school in Mayerthorpe I went on to study my Bachelor of Education abroad.  After completing my Bachelors I went on to work with children’s camps and leadership programs for several years before returning to Calgary in 2012 to work in licensed daycares and out of school cares. 

In 2022 my husband and I moved to Sangudo with our two sons for my husband’s work and so that I could pursue a Masters in Early Learning at the University of Alberta.  I love being outdoors hiking and skiing, a number of crafting/sewing hobbies and gardening. 

Educating young children is truly a passion for me. I love coming to work here and brainstorming ways to create magical learning/playspaces for our littles!  Starting Sangudo daycare has been an opportunity to work with a team of educators who share this passion with me and share a passion for giving back to their community.
