Train Room
Ages 12 months – 4 years

Train room is designed for children aged 12months - 4 years of age. We seek to meet the daily care needs of each child through the established routines and set up of the classroom.
Train Room is equipped with an open concept washroom to allow for supported potty training. Children in this room engage in daily art/music and reading experiences according to the educator planning based on the children's interests.
There are two educators in the Train room with a maximum of 12 children.
Planning and routines differentiates between infants 12-19 months and 2-4 year olds with open ended opportunities for younger and more defined learning and social skills curriculums such as Kimochis for older children.
In all our classrooms, we follow the Alberta Early Learning Curriculum, Flight.
The daycare has its own dedicated outdoor playground area and shaded eating area, as well as daily access to an indoor gymnasium to allow for a minimum of 60 minutes of daily physical activity/gross motor play.
